Inget byte för Macheda och Taylor
Newcastles tränare Chris Hughton säger att han inte är redo att byta Uniteds Federico Macheda men sin egna Steven Taylor.
I helgen var det massa reportrar som tyckte att Macheda och Taylor skulle byta klubbar fram till slutet av den här säsongen för att se om det blir någon skillnad på deras spelstil. Hughton har nekat allt detta.
"Steven Taylor will not be going to Manchester United - the story is absolute nonsense," he said.
"I can't imagine where that has come from or who dreamed that one up."
Hughton har också berättat att han inte heller tänker låna/sälja Andy Carrol. Shay Given och Charles N'Zogbia har lämnat Newcastle och St James Park innan säsongen började.
"The truth is I do not anticipate anybody leaving in January," he said.
"Nobody will be going from my point of view, and we are working to bring people in more than anything else at this club.
"We certainly don't want to sell Andy Carroll or Steven Taylor."
