Enligt Sebastian Freys agent så är United intresserade av fransmannen.

Den forne AC Milan och Parma målvakten är 29 år, och han har haft en helt fantastisk säsong hittils med Viola (Fiorentina). Kontraktet sträckers sig ända till 2013.

Hursomhelst så anser hans agent Giovanni Branchini att United har ett stort intresse för fransmannen. Om detta är sant så blir han såklart Edwin van der Sars ersättare. Van der Sar har återvänt till träning efter hans hjärnblödning, men han vet fortfarande inte om han ska förlänga kontraktet.

 

"I cannot deny that Frey is on United's shopping list," Branchini said in the Daily Mail.

"But we will have to wait until the end of the season to see what will happen.

"Fiorentina are not willing to negotiate before May so we will have to agree with them.

"Seba is having a great season and the Viola are his main concern at the moment. So no problem at all, then in the summer we will talk."

Frey funderade på att sluta spela internationel fotboll 2008.
